Vehicle Detail
Hello and welcome to my auction! A little history, I'm the third owner and my Grandfather was the second owner, he originally purchased it in 1965 from the first owner. The car is matching numbers and has been a California car all it's life. The radio has been replaced with a CD player, however, I still have the original radio and in good condition. Recently, since I've had the car, it has mainly been used for car shows/cruises. The original interior is in very good condition, with only small damage to the drivers side door panel near the door sill, and the car is equipped with electric windows and electric seats. I've shown this car at "Cruisin' Grand" in San Diego, and got great remarks. I think it could be a cool car for someone who likes this era, I just don't have the time/space to be able to take car of this car. I'm quite familiar with cars, so if you have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask. Furthermore, I'm also open to interesting trades for a 50's-60's pick-up truck, but would prefer to sell the car. I've listed an array of items below of all the good and bad features I can think of. This car is also listed elsewhere and I reserve the right to end the auction early, happy bidding! The Good: California car. Interior in good condition Running Rebuilt carb less then 1,000 miles ago (Holley) New battery (less then one year) New radiator to engine hoses Registered and insured Have owners/repair manual Installed back-seat seat belts (kid friendly) Repainted rear trunk Updated radio with CD player (Also have the original) Extra parts (lights, hubcaps, turn signal covers, etc) The Bad: Some rust in the seams near the windows, but nothing structural Crack in the windshield Crack in both the drivers side and passenger side windows Paint chips Frey at in the lower drivers door interior Broken rear trunk lock (trunk still opens) Missing 'trunk liner' upholstery
