**RE-LISTING** PLEASE DO NOT BID UNLESS YOU ARE SERIOUS YOU BID YOU BUY Info below was from the last time I listed this. ***PLEASE READ EVERYTHING*** This past weekend the oil cooler line blew off at a 7-11 and dumped 6 qts of oil in their parking lot. I fixed the line replaced the oil and drove about 5 miles down the road, pulled over to check it and this time the dip stick was sticking half way out and the dipstick tube was gushing oil. so.....there is some severe crankcase pressure and I have no idea what is causing it. It will still start and run to load on trailer but im pretty sure the motor needs replaced or rebuilt. Im tired of messing with it buy it now for 2750$ drop a 500$ junkyard motor in it and drive it. Or make me an offer 1988 Jeep Wrangler with a Mercedes om617 diesel engine conversion. Jeep got around 30mpg on the highway. Specs are: om617 engine (Approximately 185k) Engine adapter from Koch Enterprises Aluminum radiator AX15 5spd (97 Cherokee) just rebuilt and refilled with MT90 np231 (97 Cherokee) Dana 30/35 with 4.11s Suspension seats in front Half doors Almost new 33in Cooper all terrains 4in complete suspension lift with only about 3500mi on it new motor mounts Included: Hack and tap SYE kit and driveshaft New Sychros Bikini top Safari Top Misc Mercedes and jeep parts power steering box for pwr steering conversion. What it needs: New lift pump (currently using a 3-4 psi electric pump which works just fine) The SYE kit installed Blinkers fixed Horn fixed Speedometer sender Top (there is a top on the jeep now but it will probably need to be replaced by next season) This jeep runs good, I work 60 miles from home and drive it several hundred miles per week in DC traffic. It is not fast but will easily do 70 on the highway and has plenty of torque. Smokes a little which I believe is due to the electric fuel pump I'm running because it didn't before I put it on but its not bad. message me with any questions Thanks! On Dec-01-11 at 09:10:48 PST, seller added the following information: update! I added current pics as of today for everyone who has asked. I would also please like to add that this vehicle has had a pretty major engine conversion and is not perfect there are minor issues not listed that come along with owning an older vehicle, for example the valve cover gasket seeps a small amount of oil...not a big deal and only costs about 6 bucks but i didnt think it was nessesary to add it. I am not trying to come off negative in anyway way I just want to give a full disclosure here. Like I said before I drive this vehicle at least 200-300 miles per week on the highway and does fine Ive probably put at least 5000 miles on it since Ive owned it. Like before any questions please message me and I will get back to you as soon as possible. Thanks! On Jan-13-12 at 05:32:16 PST, seller added the following information:
