This is a stunning 1968 Chevrolet Camaro SS Convertible that was treated to a full frame off restoration. This car receives enormous attention where ever it goes as it sounds and looks amazing Everything on the car is either new or recent. The Engine - 355ci with approximately 330hp. The odometer reads 54K (prob 154K) but it has around 3K on the engine. 4 bolt with World heads, Responsive cam, aluminum intake, Holley 750, MSD box, Power steering, power black top with new motor.Willwood brake master cylinder. The Transmission is a T350 completely rebuilt with shift kit. It shifts smoothly without any noise or problems. New floor pan, sub frame connectors, brand new Moser 12 bolt complete rear end with 33 spline axles and posi Headers and a custom dual exhaust with cross pipe. The complete rear cost $2,500 direct from Moser. New frame bushings, ball joints, suspension, shocks, disc brakes, gas tank and sending unit etc. Too much to list! This is an all steel car -- even the hood. All body panels in the engine compartment are painted the same as the outside of the car. The engine area is all clean, all chrome and in excellent condition. You can tell that this car has been pampered and well maintained. The car drives exceptionally well and can be driven anywhere with confidence. There will be no disappointments. Interior is custom interior right from Corbeau including 2 new front bucket seats and a rear seat covered to match. It has a black power top which is also in nice condition with no rips, tears or mold. The motor has been replaced with a new one and it is brand new. It comes with a $1500 Kenwood stereo system that includes 4 speakers, 4-channel amplifier, CD player, iPod connection, Bluetooth option, XM Radio and more. The car also has a kill switch for extra security. Wheels are 17" American Racing torque thrusts with 225-45-17 on the front and 255-50-17 at the back Bridgestone tires. The front breaks have been updated to disc brakes. The custom bright red paint has a lot of pearls in it and is masterfully painted with a lot of clear coating. Although it is not show-quality it is pretty close. Please note that this is a driver, not a trailer queen so expect signs of use like tiny little scratches dings etc as you are not buying a Barrett-Jackson cream pie. It is a solid, rust free driver. Everybody who sees the car say that the pictures don’t do this car justice. I strongly encourage you to call and come to inspect this car. Everything works on this car. This is a turn-key driver that needs only a new driver. I have the clear title and 2 sets of keys. The car is currently registered in DE, stored in a garage.
