You are looking at a 1997 Mitsubishi GS-T. The car has exceptional low mileage for the year and these are actual miles! It has the average mileage of a five year old car!! This is my youngest son's car and the only reason we are selling it is that he will be leaving for college this summer. We have purchased another vehicle for him as he needs all wheel drive vehicle where he is attending college. We purchased this car out of Texas approximately three years ago for my son to use for high school. I have listed the car with 73,500 miles, however, there is less than 73,100 miles on it at the time the pictures were taken today. He uses this car as his daily driver so I have added a few extra miles to cover the additional miles the car may have when the winning bidder picks up the car. Overall, the car is in very good shape for a nearly fifteen year old car. The drivers seat does have a tear in the leather seat. The interior is in very good shape but does show signs of use as a fifteen year old car would. The exterior is in very good shape as well, excluding a few dings and scrapes. The passenger side window has a scratch in it and that was there when we purchased the vehicle out of Texas three years ago. The car also has a factory powered sunroof and carbon fiber hood as seen in the pictures below. See all the pictures we have provided to see the condition of this car. Again, this isn't a perfect car, it is a used car and no warranty neither written or implied is provided. It is sold as is. My older son is a Master Mechanic and has taken care of this vehicle for my youngest son during the time we have had this car. If you notice, the Clean Trade In Value is $3,900.00 while the Clean Retail Value is $5700.00 (no mods considered). The previous Owners mods we paid for in the purchase price when we bought the car and the new mods we purchased directly and had installed as shown above total well over $7,000.00. If we pro-rate these mods to about half of the original cost and add the value of a Clean Trade In price, that is still well over $7,400.00. She's pretty quick when that turbo kicks in!! I actually drove the car back from Texas to Indiana when we bought it three years ago. Since then, my son has used the car to drive to school and to various places around the state. It is his daily driver, so the mileage may vary from the listing. There are a few items that need described that are small issues with the car. I have listed these items so there are no surprises to the new Owner. I am a trusted Ebay member for many years and being up front is the best policy. The items are as follows:1. The front driver seat has torn leather and needs repaired or a seat cover added.2. The front red Mitsubishi emblem was taken off for the look my son wanted. This emblem is readily available on Ebay or other web sites if you want to replace this as we do not have this any more.3. When the car starts up, the alternator belt squeaks for a few seconds and I believe needs tightened. This has no affect on the running of the car. My older son may try to tighten this before we release the car if he is in town before the car is delivered to the winning bidder.4. The carbon fiber hood shows stress cracks near the front of the hood where the latch is located beneath the hood. This is normal wear from opening and closing the hood and you can see these stress cracks if standing right above the hood. You cannot see these as you drive nor can anyone driving by see them.5. As stated above, the car is a fifteen year old used car and does have normal signs of wear on the interior leather and carpet and a few scratches and dings. The paint looks real good as the car has always been garaged when not driven. I am a long time trusted Ebayer with 100% positive feedback. I have bought and sold several vehicles, boats, motorcycles, etc. I have tried to describe the vehicle to the best of my knowledge. The car is available locally for you to look over. I can also take you out on a test drive if you are in the Indianapolis area. I will require a $500.00 deposit within 24 hours of the auction end via PayPal only. Add should read "catback exhaust" not "cutback exhaust."2. The power steering pump belt is making the squeaking noise not the alternator belt. Power steering pump belt needs replaced and runs about $15.00 for the belt.3. The car has a new alternator, new oil pan, new rear struts, new power steering pump, new battery, new battery cables, new coolant, new power steering fluid, new turbo and new thermostat with new seal.On Jan-13-12 at 09:33:09 PST, seller added the following information: NOTES ADDED AFTER LISTING:1. I noticed the car has had two accidents reported under the AutoCheck documentation. The first accident I do not know about as we purchased the car after that first accident date shown. When we purchased the car over three years ago, we could not find any signs of damage at all.2. The second accident report filed at the end of last year we know about. This was simply a soft touch with the front bumper of this car with the rear plastic bumper of another vehicle. The other cars rear plastic bumper dropped down about a 1/4" and the this Mitsubishi Eclipse had no damage at all. You can see from the pictures on the front of the car that nothing was damaged. There was a Police Report filed and thus the listing of an accident.
