You are bidding on a great running 2003 VW Jetta TDI. This is a great running TDI with a little over two hundred thousand miles on it. As everybody knows TDI's can go well over two hundred thousand miles with out any major issues. This diesel still has tons of life left in it. The Jetta has a 5 speed manual transmission and a sunroof. The clutch on the car seems like it is in great shape and the brakes feel decent. The body is in decent shape for the miles. There is a spot above the driver side tire where paint has been scraped off, there is also a little surface rust there (pictured). There is also some damage on the passenger rear quarter panel and bumper. Due to this damage the trunk is a little misaligned which you can clearly see in one of the pics. I will upload a better picture of the damage tomorrow. There are also various dings and dents that are common on a two hundred thousand mile car. The interior is in pretty good shape for a high mile car. There is some minor staining on the seats and carpet, which is typical wear and tear. Thanks to a winter storm we had to take pictures in our shop. They did not come out that well due to the poor lighting and cramped space. I will be adding more detailed pics tomorrow when I can take them outside. Feel free to ask any questions you might have, also feel free to ask for any pictures you would like to see. I also advise that(if you are close enough) you come down and see this Jetta in person. Start it, drive it, and play with all of the options for your self. The $4500 "buy it now" is good until the end of the 4th day or until bidding surpasses $4000. In order for me to end the auction early for the "buy it now" i must have the $200 non refundable deposit in hand. This Jetta is being sold AS/IS , no exceptions. Shipping is the responsibility of the buyer, I will however help out with the details of shipping as much as I can. A temporary plate is available for a $20 fee. A $200 non-refundable deposit is due within 48 hours of the end of the auction. In order to issue a temporary plate you MUST insure the vehicle before you pick it up. ONCE AGAIN NO HIDDEN FEES!!!!!On Jan-13-12 at 15:40:46 PST, seller added the following information: I added new pictures, which came out much better then the ones taken in the shop. It gives a decent view of the damage to the back of the Jetta. As you can see there is a dent in the fender and there is a piece missing from the bottom of the tail light. The bumper is not as bad as it looks. The absorber behind the bumper cover is misaligned, which is not allowing the bumper cover to snap back into place. We are having the bumper and absorber removed and re-installed correctly. I will update the ad tomorrow evening after it is repaired. I will ad pictures of the repaired bumper.
