1997 Mercedes 300D with dual tank WVO conversion This 300D has 181,000 well maintained miles with a $3500k Golden Fuel Systems conversion (goldenfuelsystems dot com) The system includes a VO Controller which automatically switches over and shuts down the vehicle on diesel. A 20 gallon poly tank in the trunk with Racor aquablock filter and bowl down to two microns. The heated poly tank can be used with diesel, wvo, or biodiesel, and is in addition to the 20 gallon standard diesel tank. I am getting over 32mpg and both diesel and veggie. All you need is one good waste oil source and commuting in this car will pay for itself over time. This system is very easy to maintain. The only reason I am selling is because I bought an 06 CDI. This car has been very regularly maintained by a local mechanic that specializes in Mercedes with 3k oil changes, transmission flushes, brakes, shocks, glow plugs, etc. All waste oil that has been used goes through a total of 10 filters down to 1 micron and then a 2 micron Racor aquablock and then the stock fuel filter. The Mercedes is deep green with tan leather and an upgraded Bluetooth stereo, pwr seats, mirrors, sunroof ect. No rust anywhere!
