Up for auction/ sale with no reserve is a vintage 1931 Chevy tudor Coach (spare tires mount into the front fenders) You don't see alot of these around. Comes with a bunch of loose parts. The car has an original radiator emblem bowtie and globe (this style only used for a couple of years) and a vintage eagle radiator cap ornament in decent shape. The vintage honeycomb radiator looks awesome. Has the classic stovebolt 6 cyl. motor and transmission,I am willing to assume the motor is stuck, the transmission shifts freely. I have not tried to start it. The windshield post was bent and needs to be welded then rivits removed (see pik). One tire only holds air for a short period ( enough time to load, bad rim which could be fixed) remainder tires have held air for many months now. Will need complete wood replacement (some wood remains for patterns or replace with tube steel and will need some missing parts .Looks like all the brackets are in place for the roof wood. The running boards are very solid except for one area that will be an easy fix. The hood, splash shields, and the fenders are rough especially the rears, the fronts could be salvaged , will need a rebuild of the pockets where the spare tires go. Comes with the spare tire brackets on each side of the cowl, two seat springs, and a roll down curtain for the back window that needs restoration . The door bottoms not to bad, needs a new floor No title but will provide a bill of sale. Also have an original owners manual in great shape. All in all a cool looking car that would make for a fun restoration or hotrod project. The price reflects the condition, it does have rust and dents. This car draws more attention from visitors than my brass era model T,. These old Chevy's are becoming very rare. Good price on this one compared to others I have seen. This car would look great with a smallblock in it and from what I understand with a little reinforcement the frame is strong enough for such a project. Buyer is responsible for pickup or delivery. I threw some satin paint on it because I do not want to see any more patina my wife thought it was an eyesore and ( it may end up outside for the winter) however this car is stored indoors right now and can be stored for up to 6 weeks if a sale is made, this is a good amount of time for you to line up a really good deal on shipping with U-ship.com or ?...
