Up for auction is a 1971 Chevrolet Chevelle Convertible “Driver” with 62358 miles on the odometer. A good friend of mine bought this car from a business acquaintance as part of a multi-car purchase to settle up an estate. This particular car had undergone some restoration work years ago and will require some attention to bring it to the level in which it could be a show car. I would best describe this car as a “Driver” but would make a great starting point for someone in the market to get into a Convertible Chevelle for a very reasonable price. The car has been repainted some years ago and there is rust showing at the bottom of both fenders and at the bottom of both quarters. The top is a newer canvas unit with a glass back window; it will however require new rubber weather stripping to complete the top. The interior is all Black and in nice shape, I believe this car was a bench seat car and the buckets console and floor shift were all added, the console is loosely sitting in car and will require mounting. Car had Air Conditioning but is missing the lines and compressor. Rims are dated but the Cooper Rubber is in like new condition 275/60’s in back and 215/60’s up front. The engine is a .030 over 350 Small Block with Trick Flow Aluminum Heads, Edelbrock Air-Gap Intake, and newer Holley 4-barrell carb. Hooker Super Comp Headers dump to a full dual exhaust that looks relatively new and sounds great. Transmission is a rebuilt TH350 unit, and the rear is a standard 10-bolt. Stock front brakes were swapped out in favor of some really nice SSBC Force 10 Brakes with slotted rotors and multi-piston calipers. Car is located in Eddystone, PA 19022 and car be seen by appointment only, but if you can we would welcome the inspection prior to any final bidding to ensure a sale of this vehicle.
