1975 Honda XL250

Very nice 1975 Honda XL250, no reserve. Starts easily, idles well, no smoke, strange noises etc. Transmission snaps firmly through all gears. All lights and controls function properly.. The tires are in excellant condition. The aluminum lower fork tubes show some oxidation but the chrome on the uppers is excellent! The seat has been recovered, light scratches on paint, small ding on tank basically some of the small cosmetic imperfections you would expect but still very nice for a 36 year old motorcycle. Over-all a very nice, mechanically sound bike that would serve well on the street or trail. I will aid in providing the bike for the shipper, buyer must make the arrangments. Any fees or cost's as a result are the responsibility of the buyer. One small item that I need to disclose ........ The original title to this bike was lost and reapplied for back in 2008. When it was reapplied for, the State of Illinois saw that the manufacture date was late 1974 so they insisted that the bike be titled a 1974. However if you are familiar with Honda VIN numbers, it is plain to see that this is a 1975. So consequently the title says that it is a 1974. This is not an issue when transfering the title, it just an explanation of how it came to be. Please ask any question you like prior to bidding. Thank you and good luck!
