NO RESERVE! NO RESERVE! NO RESERVE! WIN! Hello and Happy New Year! This 2003 Ford Excursion Limited is Aspen Green Metallic and a 2WD. It is driven about 60 miles each work day. The odometer reads 147,660. It is extremely roomy and comfortable. The ride is very good. It has the telescoping heated towing mirrors and towing package. The leather is not new looking, but there are no tears in it. The carpet is clean. Both the front AND rear A/C get very cold. All the instruments and gauges as well as comfort and convenience equipment work. The Power Stroke turbo diesel engine is powerful and trouble-free. The Torque Shift 5-speed automatic transmission is smooth and solid. This Excursion is a Manufacturer Buyback. eBay and the vehicle history reports don't have a good method of descriminating between lemon and buyback vechicles. Ford reacquired this vehicle and repaired the 6.0L Powerstroke Turbodiesel engine. Ford replaced many engine components with updated parts that are better designed and much more reliable. Now this diesel is as reliable or more reliable than any recent 6.0L Power Stroke Diesel. Over this Excursion's warranty period and recall history, Ford performed the following: PCM (Powertrain Control Module), FICM (Fuel Injection Control Module), and TCM (Transmission Control Module) reprogrammed and recalibrated ICP (Injection Control Pressure) Sensor replaced Rear Main Seal replaced #3, #5, #6, and #8 Fuel Injectors replaced Waste Gate Actuator replaced ICP (Injection Control Pressure) Harness replaced EBP (Exhaust Back Pressure) Sensor replaced Turbo replaced Oil Cooler Gasket replaced Fuel Header Manifold replaced CAC (Charge Air Cooler) and CAC Tube replaced Fuel Pump replaced CD-6 CD Changer Stereo repaired or replaced The Excursion drives very well for such a large vehicle. There is no rust and no body damage. The are no visible chips in the body paint or window glass. The tires are like new. This is a very reliable vehicle. We took the Excursion on a 2,700 mile trek to North Carolina and back without even a hiccup. There is a slight oil leak. I'm not certain exactly where. There are a few bleach spots on the top of the front bumper on the driver side. I wish I knew how that happened. There is a small chip in the passenger side fiberglass rear door. The rear hatch pneumatic support rods are weak. These are about the only gripes I can think of. Our Excursion is fully tagged and ready for a long trip. It's just in time for that road trip you've been wanting to take! We are selling it outright for cash or cashiers check. However, we would also consider an even trade for a similar age Lexus LS430 Premium or Volkswagen Passat GLS TDI (Diesel) with the leather and wood package.
