Rod Hello, what I have here is a very solid 67 gtx that is almost entirely the original paint, what you see is what you get. I have owned this car for almost 11 years. I never thought I would ever sell this car, I had collected over $10,000 worth of NOS parts for this car and planned on doing a complete restoration on this very nice, solid south dakota car. Then, on April 10th, our town got hit by a tornado, and just about everything I had was destroyed or lost. Every part that I had for this car is gone. It made me absolutely sick. The car got dinged up but is still a very nice car. I just dont want it around any more, every time I look at it, it makes me sick. I was going to list this shortly after the tornado, however my son and friends told me to wait for at least six months to see if I would change my mind. I just need to have this gone. In the picture you will see I have taped up the left upper corner on the rear window, a tree branch had hit the back window, it did not break it but it did scratch it up. When it slid up the window it bent up the window trim, it pulled it out a little. there is a very small ding in the roof but it is nothing to fix. The reason I taped it up was that it had to sit outside for a little while and when I washed the car up I noticed that it dripped a little where the trim was pulled out. About the only part for the car that I dont have as it was destroyed is the heater stuff under the dash, I had ordered a new heater core and gasket kit and had the unit on the bench putting it together when the storm hit. This isnt a real hard piece to find as they dont rust. I do have the new heater core. The trunk is filled with a bunch of extra parts, it all goes with the car. I dont want any of it anymore. I do have to original tach, it is not in the car but I do have it. I have so much documentation for this car it is unreal, I have the original purchase contract, the original certicard, build sheet, receipts for everything that has ever been done. The original motor was rebuilt and balanced in 1990 out in south dakota and I have all the paperwork for every single thing that was done. I have not ever driven this car, the first week that I got the car it took it to work twice, after that, this thing sat in my heated garage waiting to be redone, just kept collecting parts so that when I did it, I had everything. Thank God I did not disassemble this thing. I am the fourth owner of the car, I have all documentation for every owner back to the original owner. I put a kit in the original carb, however it needs to have the bushings in the shafts redone, it needs to be sent in. The motor runs beautiful. I had a holley bolted on it to move it around and it runs sweet. I had put in a rebuilt distributor from napa, I still have the original one. The interior of this car is very very nice. The second owner had put in new carpet and front seat covers from Legendary. The carpet has faded, as the third owner had the car sitting outside for a few years, however I have a brand new in the box black carpet set that will go along with it. The only rust on this car is what you can see in the pics, both rear wheel wells have a little and a small spot on the dog leg of the drivers front fender. the underneath of the car is perfect, door bottoms perfect. It is a very solid car. Other than that, I dont know what to say about it, i just dont want it here any more. I dont like looking at it. Unfortunately, everything that did make it without being totally destroyed I feel the same way towards. The wheels that are on the car in the pictures are not included in the sale. The original 14 inch steel wheels that are still painted the original body color will be on the car. The Vin number is RS23L77211771, you can see this on the pics of the tag and fender tag. Numbers on the top of block C 440 B 4 25 HP The casting number on the lower right side of block is 253643010. Like I said earlier, I have so much documentation for this car it is unreal. Every time anything was ever done to this car, it was documented and I have it all. Here is your chance to own a very nice, solid GTX. The rest of the payment will be made with either cash in person when car is picked up or a bank wire transfer within three days. I want this to be a safe and good transaction for both parties. If someone would like to see the picture just let me know. I also have a picture of the complete trunk floor if you would like to see one, the trunk floor is very nice. I also forgot to put in the listing that I have a very nice rust free decklid that I will include with the car to the winning bidder. There also is another tail panel that was in the trunk that will go with the car. Also, there is a factory 67 antenna in the trunk. The missing wheel opening molding was in the trunk.
