You are looking at a 1966 VW Dune Buggy. I have had this buggy for about 2 years now. I have loved these buggy s. I will buy them and re do them and have fun then get bored with them and then sell it and then buy me a different one. Well I was laid off from my job so now I need to sell it. I did get the Engine rebuilt during this time. It has a nice oversized cam in it and runs like no other. It does not smoke or miss at all. I drove this car on a 60 mile trip over the weekend and ran like a champ. The body is good. I didnt want to shine it up only because I didnt want anyone to think I am trying to hide anything. The body has blue metallic paint and would shine up easy. It has no cracks or breaks in the body. I was planning on painting but didnt have a chance to. The seats are old I would defiantly change them. You can buy them new at VW or racing place for a set of 2 with covers are only $225.00 for the pair. The carpet is going to need to be done as well. The 4 speed transmission is nice and tight with no problems. When the engine was out I had a clutch put in it as well. The front tires are new and the back tires are going to need to be replaced at some point in the near future. This buggy also has seat belts for the front and back seat as well as most due not. This is probably one of the quickest buggy s I have had. If you want to leave it the way it is just put a tag on it and go. Like I said I have been driving this most of the time. My reserve is set very low so dont wait or it will be gone. I have a friend who owns a shipping company and can give you a discount on shipping but it is your expense.
