First, I will not accept bids from folks with less than 10 transaction. If you win, there is a deposit that is required within 48 hours. Do not bid if you do no have the money to complete this transaction within the terms and conditions of this auction. I do not care about your money issues. Do not accept bids from Yesican75 - he's a loser buyer/bidder. That being said, up for auction is a 98 CLK 320 with 153000 miles. Reason for selling - have too many cars and hate to see this one sitting outside over the winter. This was my daily drive until a week ago when I got a new car. For a 13 year old car, I would consider it to be fair/average. The car runs fine but does need some work. I would bleed the brakes as they are soft. The oil pan is leaking oil. I think that tightening it might help it for a while, but if you want to do it right, I would replace the gasket. The car should have a tune-up as it idles fine but shakes/vibrates some when put it drive under idle. That being said I would not be afraid to take this car on a long journey. I just changed the oil a couple of weeks ago. The altemator was replace within the last year. The running lights do not work. They might be out but I think that there is a bad connection. The air conditioning works but I need to add a can of freon every spring. The sun roof works but seems to have a mind of its own at time. The trans shifts like it should. The interior is solid. The seats are rip-free. There are cracks in the wood grain finish in some spots. The little Mecedes emblem is missing of the shifter. All the electronics work. The seat belt poked a hole in the spreaker cover on the drivers side The body has started to show its age. Initially, I was going to have it repainted and stored for use in the summer but felt the cost did not justify return. There is some gel coat that started coming off on the front bumper and on the roof. Every panel has some rust starting to show but there is nothing that is beyond repair. There is a good ding in the front quarter panel near the headlight as someone wanted to be an ass and barreled a shopping cart into the car. On the bottom of the front bumper, the cover that hides the tow hook is missing. The tires still have some life - should get another season or two out of them. From going through the car wash, the covers on the turn light came off. I think that most of the key problems were mentioned. This is a good car to restore and a fun car to drive. If you are looking for a project or just a solid daily driver, this is a good car. It has all the options that you get with a CLK and has plenty of life left.
