Selling my 1995 Mitsubishi Mirage. Originally purchased as a Lancer Evolution 3 conversion project, but I no longer want to continue this anymore. It is in perfect running condition, the car is only cosmetically modified, engine and transmission remain 100% STOCK. Mileage is really low considering it is a 1995, I have been using it as a daily driver for over a year, my commute to work has become too long and spending hours in the bucket seat is not fun so I have not been using it much since beginning of this year. The car has many upgrades and will be perfect for someone wanting to do this kind of conversion. If you want to drive it as is it is perfectly fine and reliable as well, expect to get a lot of attention though. Here are the details of the vehicle: Upgrades: Exterior Full VIS Lancer Evolution III body kit with JDM Evo III spoiler Full car repainted in metallic black JDM style rain guard Black JDM grille with HKS emblemed mesh JDM EVO III headlights with 8000K HID LED tailights *There's not a dent or scratch on the car execpt for minor rock chips on the lower front bumper due to daily driving. Suspension Gold 17" ralliart rims with 80% new Bridgestone all season tires Brand new CV boots, brand new KYB sport shocks/struts with Ebachi springs (1.5" lowered) Interior Yellow aftermarket shift knob Gold e-brake handle by Icihban Black leather shift and e-brake boots Light weight Bucket seats (both driver and passenger) Carbon Fiber B-Pillar Bar Big face Kenwood MP3 player with remote control *Interior is stripped with no carpet or backseats The car also has a aftermarket airfilter and muffler, NO other modification has been done on engine. Known Problems The security lock on the "PARK" gear is not working, the key is stuck in the ignition because it thinks that the gear is not in park. However, it can be turned all the way to off position so it is not leaving any lights on or draining battery, the only thing that sucks is that you need to leave the key in the car and have a spare key to lock/unlock the doors (I have been doing this since day 1 I own this car, it is a little annoying but nothing major). And I believe it will not be an expensive fix at the shop. Like I said I have not really been using it for a year so I have recently registered it under PNO (planned non perational) so that I don't have to pay full registration. However I have all paperwork you need to renew the status and you will only need to pay $131 to reactivate the driving status ( I have notice from DMV as proof). You will also need to do a smog check if you are in California (well even if it is operating you will need it anyway) but it will not be a problem since nothing has been done to engine (It passed smog 2 years ago with flying colors). Even I am not using it as a daily driver I have been starting it every weekend to keep the battery alive and warm up the engine to prevent any build-up. The car has been sitting in my garage for a year and I needed the space for a family car. I have invested over 6K in the car but I am now selling it cheap because I just needed to get rid of it.
