The classic 240's with low documented original mileage in this condition are something you rarely see anymore but if you're looking you probably well aware of that fact. The exterior finish shines like new with no signs of fading or clear coat issues that so many of this vintage suffered from. Headlights are the originals and crystal clear. There is no rust anywhere and there is no accident history. As you can see the interior is mint, no visible wear, stains, odors, fading, and no cracks in the original dashboard. All factory options work as new. Blower motor works flawlessly with zero noise on any speed setting. The original Radio with 4 speakers are standard Volvo issue. Motor and transmission are just what you would expect, running/operating perfect. As you can see from the pictures the motor compartment is just a clean as the rest of the vehiclce. I have described the car and documented it's condition with pictures to the best of my ability but may have missed something so please ask any questions prior to bidding and know that I would more than welcome requests to help arrange a third party inspection or to have you come and look at her in person. This is a one owner garage kept Volvo- The original owner purchased the car in October 1987 and kept every single receipt for service and repairs. I purchased this mint condition Volvo at an estate auction last week and all the paper work is in the glove box. This car has 89xxx actual miles and is in mint condition. Not a scratch or ding on the body and the paint is like new. The interior is practically like new. I have been driving thios car for almost a week on the highway and in town and it drives beautifully and gets an average of 28 mile per gallon. Only 2 things need repalaced- a window switch and a hub cap which I have on order. After that this car is like it just came off the showroom floor. On Dec-29-11 at 19:28:57 PST, seller added the following information: Update- it has come to my attention that the odometer is not working so based on service records available I believe the actual mileage to be around 114xxx. Cannot warrant that number but it is based on usage up till last known working odometer. This Volvo is in super condition.
