Liquidating my grandfather's estate, here is a 1977 Lincoln Town Car in great shape. The car spent its entire life in Florida and was driven here last month. The 460 engine operates flawlessly. The car has its original paint, which still has a beautiful shine. Aside from a couple surface chips around the right rear tail light and the left panel close to the fuel tank door(see pictures), this vehicle is virtually rust free. The interior is in excellent condition. The seats, carpet, dash board and headliner are free from any defects, rips or cracks. The steering wheel has a protective custom leather cover that was put on when the car was purchased. The steering wheel has no cracks, and if so desired, the cover can be removed. The automatic climate control system works as designed. All power accessories (vacuum headlight covers, seats, windows, cruise control and 8-track Stereo) work flawlessly. The only power option not functioning is the antenna. The vinyl coach top is soft without cracks or rips, but requires some cleaning (see pictures). The undercarriage is clean and rust free. Michelin tires have lots of tread left. As preventative maintenance prior to being driven to Michigan, the radiator, water pump, fuel pump and spark plugs were replaced. The car can be driven at any distance. The vehicle is sold as is and I encourage inspections prior to bidding. The reserve is set low to make the auction fair to all bidders on this classic.
