Inside – no rust. No coatings of any kind. The left side cover is cracked. The seat is 100% original and excellent. Chrome is in perfect shape overall. The gauges faces are beautiful - not faded. The tach’s redline still has that orange/pink look. All Honda decals are original and this can easily be seen. Traces of the yellow torque paint still visible. Starts right up, idles and runs out beautifully with that great SOHC 4 750 sounds. Has the typical CB750 clutch noise that goes away when clutch lever is pulled in. It gets a set of HM300 exhaust pipes in excellent condition – no hole or rust whatsoever. The original HM341 exhaust pipes were full of big holes that were hard to repair. As a result the bike is not completely original but the HM300 pipes are a great addition in terms of performance and “music”... Handling is excellent thanks to the combination of a set of Hagon shocks/progressive fork springs and modern rubber. The only fault I am aware of is related to the starter motor safety unit. The clutch has to be pulled in when starting the bike in neutral. It should not be. So either the neutral circuit wiring or the safety unit itself is acting up. No big deal to fix. Clean BC title. It is currently insured and carries a collector plate.
