For sale is a 1968 AMC AMBASSADOR DPL 4 door. This AMC has the 343 Cubic Inch engine and automatic transmission. The odometer shows 68000 miles. It is a strong running motor and I would love to keep the car but my wife says it has to go. Too many AMC toys already. The car seems pretty straight and solid. The paint is faded as you can see in the pictures and above the rear wheels there is rust. The previous owner has used the car as a daily driver and had invested a lot of time and money to get her running good. All the glass is intact with no cracks. Interior is pretty good except for drivers seat needs to be re-covered, carpet on drivers front is worn and some missing, and dash has some cracks in it. Things that done to car: 1. plugs, wires, cap, rotor, distributor, coil 2. Edelbrock air cleaner w/ K&N, Edelbrock oil breather and Edelbrock valve covers 3. rebuilt carb 4. NEW starter, battery, alternator 5. tires and rims, 6. wheel bearings and wheel studs with spacers 7. Gates belts 8. Fluids, everything has Royal Purple in it and oil has K&N filter The car runs and drives well. Has a 1350 stall converter. Transmission is a 3spd T35. Fluid is still cherry red and shifts fine, no clunking or any noise. Thank you for looking at the car.
