1953 Willys Jeep CJ3A that has sat in a barn for 5 years without anything being done to it. The motor was rebuilt before the jeep was put up in the barn. I have worked on the jeep but it still needs some stuff done to it. The motor runs good, does not smoke, the jeep does not get hot, the generator still works good and charges the battery, cleaned the carb but it still needs alittle adjusting, the jeep sets and idles good, the gas tank is in bad shape since the old gas sat in there for five years, you will probably have to buy a new one, but still have the old one if you want to try to clean it. A new orignal gas tank is 150 dollars. The clutch works good, transmission is good, drove the jeep done the road and went through all the gears, tranfer case is good, no noise and shifts into in and out and high and low easily. The brakes will needs some attention, the master cylinder was dry and put fluid in their but did not try to bleed them. The jeep body is solid, not rusted out anywhere and the body is straight. I drove the jeep down the road and the steering is tight does not try road walk, and all the gauges still work and one of the few I have seen that has a heater. I tried the four wheel drive and it works well and the jeep has the lockouts that still work good. The title was issued in 1993 and I never tried to get it put in my name, but you would have a title to the jeep.
