I bought this six-window hardtop car to restore, but just have too much on my plate – three other cars in the works. It was purchased from original owner’s daughter. It is showing less than 40,000, which might very well be accurate, given the very good condition on the interior. Motor looks rough and certainly needs detailing and a good going through…valve clatter, but it does run. Transmission seems strong and shifts smoothly. Interior is truly outstanding, with only the carpet being stained and faded. Body is in good shape with exception of a couple of dents and a couple of rust spots in the usual places, down low. Door jams are first rate. Glass is all very good except windshield, which is cracked and needs to be replaced. The chrome is terrific. Power steering, air conditioning, power windows (including power vents), auto-eye dimmer, etc Believe all switches, lights, lighters, etc work well. This car is a prime candidate for restoration – frame off or otherwise. As you may well know, it is typically the bodies and interiors that give the most problems in the cars. However, with this one they are its strong points.
