1982 Alfa Romeo Spider This is a project car It is not running Long story short, I own this car for about 5 years, I got it from my uncle who owned it for 15 years +/-. When I got the car I tuned it up, replaced calipers, pads, rotors, and patched the floor. I then drove it for one summer, probably less than 500 miles. I parked the car, starting it on occasion for about a year, with short bursts here and there, too many other projects got in the way and it sat for the next year or two. Six months ago I decided to resurrect the car, started it, and drove it. I replaced the clutch, throw out bearing and had fuel delivery problems, I then replaced fuel pump filter and even ran a new fuel line to no avail. I believe the tank is corroded and has clogged the new pump/fuel line. In the interim the car decided not to crank anymore, I believe it to be the starter or bad wiring to the starter, but I threw in the towel. My hands hurt from wedging them where they don't belong and I lost my garage and WILL NOT work outside on this car. The car is complete with better then average seats, door panels and convertible top. The body is ok. It has rust on the chassis/underbody, The wheels and tires are in good shape. It does have cross drilled and slotted rotors. The engine did NOT knock or make any other non-Alfa like noises. It has a new clutch and throw out bearing. I have the center console, top boot, new slave cylinder and other misc. random parts that I will include. It's rusty and doesn't start. It's a PROJECT or PARTS CAR.
