I am offering up my 1997 Lexus LX450 (Toyota Land Cruiser twin) for sale here on eBay for no reserve with a very reasonable starting bid. First some information in the SUV then I'll give it's history. 1997 LX450, 4.5 liter straight 6 cylinder, full-time 4 wheel drive with low range and center diff lock (please note: center diff lock only not F&R), automatic, fully loaded will all other options. Including running boards, roof rack, tow package, rear fin, 3rd row seats, 3 original Lexus keys, keyless entry alarm, etc. On the outside it's black with metallic grey fender flares and side molding. The inside is tan leather with dual power seats. It has the factory faux wood trim but none of the extra stuff the dealer sometimes stuck on for a clean look on the inside. If you are looking a for this truck you probably know many of the details. My LX is in superb condition and is basically completely stock with the exception of a new Sirius XM, Bluetooth, iPod head unit (I have the stock Lexus head unit as well). After a long search I bought this truck from the original Lexus dealer than sold it new to a business man that owns a national chain of auto parts stores. He registered it to the company for the first 5 years and 2 months and then to himself personally for 8 years and 5 months. He then traded back into the Lexus dealer (for a new Audi Q7) and that's when I bought it with 48K original miles. He owned many cars and used it mostly as a vacation vehicle. From what I learned it spent some time in Missouri and Florida. He took great care of this truck both mechanically and cosmetically and it is completely rust free and the interior is near perfect. Even the drivers seat is showing very little wear. It has the original Lexus carpeted floor mats and I have a set of Lloyds all weather mats I've been using in their place. It also has a Weather Tech rear cargo mat. When I bought the truck I took it to TLC4x4 in Van Nuys, CA and had them go through the truck, they are a fairly well known Land Cruiser restoration and service company. After a thorough inspection they only found 1 broken exhaust hanger that need replaced. Otherwise they said come back in 3k miles for an oil change and service. They have done all the services on my truck ever since and have kept in top shape. It is my daily driver and I have put just over 30k miles since I got it. Within the last 1000 miles they put on new front & rear brake pads and a new Toyota OEM brake master cylinder. EVERYTHING works on the truck. All dash lights and indicators, the power antennae, rear wiper, all windows etc. No previous paint work or any accident history. All of the original Toyota VIN stickers are present and accounted for from the quarter panels, to the hood, to the doors, to the rear hatch and tail gate. Headliner is perfect, leather seats are in great condition, the leather wrapped steering wheel is also in great condition. Never smoked in or abused. There are about 4-5 small scratches on the exterior that have been touched up with Lexus paint that I took close up photos of so you can hopefully see them. It is a fifteen year year old vehicle that has been very, very well kept. But please keep in in mind that it has been a daily driver over there last 15 months so it's not as new but darn close.
