1998 Grand Caravan Sport MiniVan Sharp, clean & in great shape (for its age).Air Conditioning works well. Power Sunroof. 7 passenger with buckets.All power except for the sliding doors. Tilt, Cruise218,450 miles (majority are highway miles)3.3 liter motor Runs and rides amazingly well (if you are somewhat interested in the van by the information in this listing, you NEED to come and drive it). We are the 2nd owner; we bought it with 40,769 miles in May of 2001. We have all the maintenance records from the previous owner. We have changed oil every 3,000 to 5,000 miles. I have a listing of the dates and items regarding the van, from oil changes, to maintenance and repairs. If you take the time to look over the details (see picture of report), the tires were replaced at 182,000 miles … they have good tread left on them (see picture). The transmission was replaced in 2005 at 140,000 miles. Although the new transmission is out of warranty, the shop owner said (at the time) if I have any problems within 100,000 that I should come and see him. It continues to work wonderfully. Brakes replaced in 2008, new starter in 2002, new battery in 2005, new tie rods in 2007. It does need new windshield wiper blades; I haven’t had the chance to replace them. There is rust starting to break out in various areas. The picture shows the rust on the back hatch. There was some rust repaired several years ago along the bottom midsection just under the sliding door, which is starting to surface again.I would actually keep driving the van except my wife said its time for a new one. There is nothing better than a van for a true utility vehicle, and it’s a “sport” so it has been our perfect sport utility vehicle (with decent mpg’s). It has been a great vehicle for us and I believe it will continue to be for the next owner. There are no known current issues with the van other than the wiper blades, but due to its age the van is being sold “as is” with no written or implied warranty.
