I bought this car in 2007 to fully restore and add to my Jaguar collection. I was told by the seller that he drove the car on a daily basis prior to him starting a restoration. I have made no attempt to operate the car since I intended to do a complete rebuild of all mechanical parts, including the engine, transmission and rear end. The car has been in storage since I purchased it. Other than the driver's floor pan, the car is in good condition rust wise. I bought the car because I considered it a sound vehicle for restoration purposes. I was told by the person from whom I bought the car that the milage on the speedometer (36,990) is correct. Other than a couple of dents that appear to have occured when the previous owner had it in storage, the body is in good shape. This car is being sold "AS IS" with no warranties, expressed or implied. The buyer is responsible for all costs of pick-up or shipment. A $1,000.00 deposit must be paid via PayPal within 48 hours of the close of the auction. The balance of the purchase price must be received within 5 days of the close of the auction; paid in cash or by cashier's check or PayPal. Proper ownership documents will be sent to the buyer via FedEx immediately upon receipt of the purchase price balance. I can store the car indoors for as long as necessary at no cost to accomodate vehicle pick-up.
