Here we have a 2008 FORD F-250 SUPERCAB LONGBED 4X4 with the 6.4 Liter Powerstroke Diesel, Torqueshift Automatic trans, and A/C. The truck is from Texas and has never been in the Salt so it is clean underneath with no corrosion or Rust. As you can see it has been used as a truck. It has dings and dents around the truck in different places. The other problem the truck has is the engine has a knock. It sounds like a rod, but we are not 100% sure. There is supposed to be a problem in these engines in the fuel system that can make a similar sound to a rod knocking but this one sounds like a rod to us. The truck starts right up and drives around. I drove it out on the road a short distance to make sure the trans and everything else felt OK and I didn't see any other problems in the drivetrain at all. These engines are usually pretty reliable compared to the 6.0 liters and you can make big Horsepower from them with the aftermarket mods that are available but this one will need some repairs before it will be roadworthy again. It will make someone a cheap truck if they can do the repairs themselves or work in a Diesel Shop where they can get a break on the labor.
