Vehicle Detail
This is a very well optioned 1972 rally charger I am relisting this due to a non paying bidder. this car is a running project car. needs restoration. here is the data plate information. 01120 158161 803 860 C11 P31 26 C36 V4X U V21 C16 H51 FY1 E6X9 TX9 127 241832 E63 D34 WH23 M2A 158061 Code Description E63 400-2 Barrel 72-76 D34 TorqueFlite Automatic Transmission WH23 W = Dodge Coronet / Charger H = High 23 = 2 Door Hardtop M2A M = 400 190HP(net) 1-2BBL 8 CYL 2 = 1972 A = Lynch Road, MI, USA 158061 Sequence Number '158061' FY1 Paint Code: Top Banana / Lemon Twist E6X9 Trim Grade/Style/Color E = Economy 6 = Vinyl Bucket Seats X9 = Black TX9 Upper Door Frame: Black / Black Velvet 127 Date Built: 1 / 27 / 1972 241932 Order Number: 241932 V4X Roof Type OR Color: Black Canopy Vinyl Roof U Built to Specifications for USA Order V21 Performance Hood Treatment C16 Console w/ Buckets H51 Single Air /w Heater 26 26 in. Radiator G36 Left Hand Remote, Right Hand Manual Outside Mirror G11 Tinted Glass All P31 Power Windows The original 400 is gone. it now has a 68 383 4bbl, this car did not come with the hidden headlight grill. I installed it. there is a knob on the electric motor you turn to open and close the headlight doors. still has the original - power disk brakes, bulge hood, R/T tail lights, dual mirror's, rally doors, power windows. (drivers side is the only one I got to work) a/c (heater fan switch is broken), tuff wheel, rally dash (radio area has been cut), console, bucket seats, motor - 1968 383 factory cast iron 4bbl runs good. needs driver sidemotor mount. trans - 727 auto needs tranny lines, rear end - 9 1/4 sure grip with factory sway bar, not sure on the ratio probably a 3.23 tires - front tires are decent, rear tires hold air and are not safe for highway driving. rims - vintage slots, I thought these fit the car well. brakes - power disc brakes, work great. factory front sway bar glass - no cracks or chips original glass less windshield, it is a ppg tinted, changed once upon a time interior - factory tuff wheel and rally dash, slap stick auto cosole bucket seats. body - rough every panel has a dent or ding. only rust is a small spot on the right rear wheel lip (pictured) the drivers side front fender has been sculpted with bondo (pictured) car has a lot of potential. I am more of a small block A body guy so this one needs to go. I have two A body's I need to get to work on. due to the rear tires lack of a heater fan and trans fluid leak, I would not trust driving this one very far.
