1955 CHEV BELAIR 2 DR HT NOT RUSTY, I BOUGHT THIS CAR FROM A LADY THAT SHE AND HER LATE HUSBAND BOUGHT NEW. THIS IS A RUNNING, DRIVING CAR. ENGINE IS A SMALL BLOCK CHEVY WHICH SHE STATED HAD BEEN REBUILT RECENTLY BEFORE HE DIED. HAS A MUNCIE 4 SPD, ALUMINUM INTAKE, NEW HOLLEY CARB. RUNS GREAT, DRIVES GOOD. TRANS WORKS GOOD. NEW MUFFLERS AND EXHAUST TURNED DOWN IN FRONT OF REAR WHEELS. WHAT HAS BEEN CHANGED AND NOT ORIGINAL TO CAR IS THE ENGINE AND TRANS, WHEELS, & FRONT SEATS. OTHER THAN THAT IT’S PRETTY STOCK. I DO HAVE AN ORIGINAL FRONT SEAT THAT NEEDS RESTORED YOU CAN HAVE IF YOU IF YOU BUY IT. NOW FOR THE FRAME AND BODY. FRAME IS SOLID, NO PATCHES OR WRECKS OR EXTRA WELDS. THE DOORS OPEN AND CLOSE VERY NICE. AS FOR RUST..THERE IS NOT A RUST HOLE OR A SOFT SPOT ANYWHERE I CAN FIND ON THIS CAR. PAINT IS OLD AND FADED, SAID LAST TIME PAINTED WAS 40 YEARS AGO. WHEN I SAY SOLID, I MEAN FLOORS, FLOOR BRACES, TRUNK LID AND PAN, DOORS, QTRS. YOU CAN TAKE A HAMMER AND BEAT ON THE FLOORS AND SUPPORTS. NO EXTRA UNDERCOATING EITHER.
