This is the first of the Mark IIs and has some Mark 2 features like later bigger rear lights and front grille but retains the sliding windows and external door hinges, right side parking wipers, Cooper gear linkage and big Mark I steering wheel. Car body number is S11651 British registration number is JBG 847F First registered 03 26 1968 This car has great originality which you can see from the original almond green paintwork which has remained in remarkable condition considering its 43 years of age! Upholstery is new and carpets. Engine has only covered 23000 miles and is very sweet but lively with the twin carburettors. A joy to drive and real talking point. The sills have been replaced with new correct parts as they were becoming thin. Floors are excellent. This Mark II Mini Cooper will suit someone who is looking for something special.
