Options: Finished in charcoal metallic with a soft camel accent stripe and parchment leather upholstery, this ULTRA CLEAN 2003 Volvo V70 Turbo features about everything that you expect in a Swedish sport wagon beginning with the smooth and responsive 2.4 Liter DOHC 20 Valve 5-Cylinder turbo powerplant teamed with a 5-speed automatic overdrive transaxle, driver, passenger and side SRS (air bags), Volvo’s own SIPS™ (side-impact protection system), dual-zone climate control featuring a factory R134a refrigerant charge, 4-wheel ABS (anti-lock brakes), traction control, power windows, central locking system, power mirrors, power front seats, power sunroof, factory alloy wheels, tinted glass, factory sound system, 4-wheel disc brakes, cruise control, rear window defroster, rear wiper/washer, rear cargo cover and much more! Yet ANOTHER Clean Southern Ride! This vehicle is riding on a very new set of Michelin Primacy ™ touring tires! Service and Inspection Report: We brought this clean Volvo in for service and found it to be in very good order. The prior ONE OWNER kept this vehicle clean and we really didn’t find anything of significance that needed attention. We did the service that would take the vehicle to the next interval. We verified that the timing belt has just been changed by pulling the cover and inspecting the system. While we were there, we noticed some minor belt noise so we installed a new serpentine belt and tensioner idler wheel, making the belt drive system whisper quiet. We also went ahead and installed new Denso® brand spark plugs along with the proper anti-seize paste on the plug threads. We typically do spark plug changes with the timing belt service so now it’s the way we would have done the job. Moving along, we did an oil change, even though one was done recently. We wanted everything to be up to date for the new owner. The air filter has just been changed so we vacuumed the debris out of the air box that accumulates during driving. We finished under the hood by performing a transmission fluid change using Mobile 3309 ATF which is specifically formulated for the AW 55-50 SN automatic transaxle. Moving to the chassis, the brakes looked good, both front and rear. The climate control worked just fine so we installed a new cabin air filter. We were about to install new wiper blades, but, they’re new. All in all, we did what would have amounted to $800 worth of service to this vehicle if you bought all of this after the sale yourself!
