Another important note on this car is the Gas Mileage. Now what I am about to say is not a mis-print or an exaggeration. This del Sol consistently gets 35 miles to the gallon while city driving and 41 miles to the gallon on the highway. I know that seems crazy, but it is 100% accurate! Find another sports car that drives like this and gets this kind of gas mileage, I dare you!!! I have all of the original Owner’s Manuals, Booklets, Records and Receipts for this car. There will be NO surprises with this del Sol. You will get all of the paper work to show you how well it has been loved and maintained! I think that just about sums it all up. Please read the details I have posted above and look at the many pictures below. This really is a stunning and very unique del Sol and I will miss it greatly. It literally hurts my stomach when I think about letting it go, but I have to make this very difficult sacrifice as I just brought home another dream car of mine home last Friday. Please give this car a beautiful, loving new home. Lord knows it deserves it!! This is an As-Is, No Warranty Sale. I very much welcome ANY and ALL questions you may have!! Good Luck To Everyone!!! * * * While I prefer someone to pick this vehicle up, I am willing to meet shippers to see it off to its new destination. The shipping costs and quotes will be the buyer's responsibility. I will not ship the vehicle until it has been paid for in full and the shipping has been paid in full. I will not take checks of any kind, no money orders......cash only! I have had several issues with people trying to use cashier's checks and the like. I will only take actual cash. yes, cash bills only. Sorry, but that's just how it's gotta be. * * * On Dec-08-11 at 09:10:14 PST, seller added the following information: Hello everyone! Thank you so much for the great questions, loads of compliments and of course for bidding on my wonderful del Sol. I've had several folks ask me for a picture of the engine, so I have just added one to the photo gallery. Also, I added a picture that shows the floor / carpet of the car and the floor mats that will come along with the car. As you can see, that picture was taken before I had the seats re-done in leather. This is actually a good thing for you to see as it shows that even before the reupholstering, the interior looked great and that it was not reupholstered because or rips or poor condition! Keep the good questions coming everyone! I will answer as soon as I see them. I am always happy to post more pictures as I get requests for them. I have loads of pictures of the car, taken from the very first day I bought it and all throughout my ownership (showing the evolution of it's appearance). On Dec-10-11 at 11:42:08 PST, seller added the following information: Hello Everyone. I've been getting some great questions and wanted to post some more information for you base don these questions. There is NO rust what-so-ever on this car. Not a spot, not a hint! I know del Sols are famous for rust (especially the rear wheel wells and the doors), this car was always a garage kept, very dry California car from day one! Nothing at all was cut to install the CRV stereo. I don't believe in cutting corners on my cars. I bought factory Honda stereo wiring harnesses and everything about the install was 'plug and play'. No modifications, no cutting, no splicing wires, no custom wiring, nothing at all! Not a lot of folks know this but I'd like to share it. del Sol are famous for trunk leaks! The culprit is broken clips located under roll bar trim panels. My trunk never leaked but I believe in preventative measures. I ordered all new clips from the dealership and installed them (I have all receipts). Although my car never gets driven in the rain I wanted everything flawless. After the install, I leak tested it and it was dry as a bone. These cars are also infamous for their targa tops leaking! It is the 1993 and 1994 models that are known for this. Honda corrected for the 1995 model year. In keeping with the preventative measures, I had the targa seals replaced with the revised style. The car doesn't leak a drop! As for the mileage, some folks seem a bit confused. The mileage listed is that post to it's 'restoration'. Meaning, the engine transmission, and all related components. Thank you SO much everyone. Please keep the excellent questions coming. I want to be as much help as possible to you all. Don't hesitate to contact me about the slightest little thing!
