1970 Nova SS 350/300hp Muncie M-21 4 speed 12 bolt Posi rear end. This is a true SS - all numbers matching: Numbers are listed below for you to view. Mileage documented at 11,808 original miles in Jan 2005. Car has 11,841 miles at present time. Clear Ohio title: actually has Nova SS on the title which is rare. Car is all there but in need of a full restoration - has been sitting for over 25 years. Car did sit outside for a period of time. Originally desert sand with black interior with bucket seats and console with gauge delete. Now, blue and primer exterior, original black interior is partially removed. (headliner, carpet) Removed headliner to search for build sheet. Found a 1”x1” piece, mice ate the rest. Did find a Hurst decal under the carpet. I purchased the car from the original family in Jan. 2005 in hopes to do a complete correct restoration on it but that it probably not going to happen - do not have the time. I am selling the car just as I bought it plus some extra parts I bought for the car. I have the history of the car dating back to new. This Nova was purchased new at a dealership out of Lexington, Kentucky. Car was drag raced from new until 1984. Factory GM ladder bars and headers were installed at the dealership and the car was also painted blue at that time. 12 bolt rear was also changed out back then. Code shows 3.31 gears but was told it has 4.56 gears in it. Last time it was plated for road use was 1985. (have plate) Here are some of the details: Body is a little rough from sitting. Needs new tail panel. Needs lower quarters - have 3 new half quarters that come with car. (1 driver’s side and 2 pass. Side) Doors, hood, and deck lid are in good shape. Fenders are very usable, driver’s fender does have some light damage. Front floors need a little bit of attention but not bad, otherwise floors are in good solid shape. Trunk is solid - small area above pass. wheel well needs fixed. Frame rails over the axle and inder the trunk are solid. Seats are in good shape. Headliner is good. Needs new dash pad, carpet and door panels. Do not have a rear bumper. Engine was mildly rebuilt in 2002-03 and put back in the car. I have the original Muncie 4 speed - 350 turbo automatic is currently in the car. Car runs and drives. Engine currently has a different intake, carb, distributor, and alternator on it but the numbers matching ones are included with the car. Solid extra heater box. 2 carburetors. Numbers matching alternator is newly rebuilt, clutch pedals, air cleaner, and more. See pics.
