Today up for your consideration is my clean satin silver 2002 Ford Mustang GT. This is an orignal unmolested car that has the 4.6L V-8 and 5 speed transmission. I bought this car from the daughter of the orignal owner after he died last year. I have only driven this car on occasion to dinners and such and on one vacation to Colorado, other than that it is locked in the garage all the time, as I have another car for a daily driver. I really hate to sell this car but I need to take care of some bills that came up so it sadly must go. Title is clear and in hand. I have been on top of the mantaince since I got the car. Every 3000 miles I have changed the oil and filter, I always run royal purple oil and a Ford oil filter. I also changed the transmission and rear axle oil and replaced with fully synthetic royal purple in the axle and mobil 1 in the transmission. Shortly after I got the car I replaced the front wheel bearings, brakes and rotors, fuel filter, and U-joints just to freshen everything up. The car has been trouble free however, 2 weeks ago I had to put a fuel pump in it and decided to also put in a new battery since I was not sure how much longer the old battey would last since it actually looked like the orignal battery. The car is 100% stock as it was driven by the old man untill he died. The only aftermarket part is the clutch quadrant. I have several friends with Mustangs and they all said it would be wise to replace the stock plastic quadrant with a new aluminum one so we did that and changed the clutch cable. As I understand it is common for the plastic quadrant to break and leave you walking is the only reason I changed it. I have a new model Sony CD player installed with I-pod and USB hookup as well as remote control.The car will come with the stock CD player as well. When I bought the car there was a dent in the right rear (see picture) I had the dent fixed and the quarter panel painted as well as the roof beacuse there were some scratches on the roof that bugged me. The shop did an excellent job on the dent as you would never know it was there. However, the paint looks just a touch darker if the light is just right but it is hard to see, all of the pictures were taken after the panels were painted so you can see for your self how close it matches. When they painted the roof they cracked the windshield trim, I have a brand new Ford made trim that will come with the car. Other than that there are just the normal small scratches and dings you would expect from a car this age. I only mention it beacuse I want to be totally honest about the condition of the car. I have all the receipts for all the parts I replaced, many have a lifetime warranty. When I got the car I also started a log for all the maintance that will come with the car so you see the maintaince history. If you have any questions or would like more pictures please just ask!
