1998 Volkswagen Jetta - electric blue - 4 door sedan - manual transmission - 119,445 miles Great little car, fun to drive around. For a small car that's great on gas, it's roomy inside and has a huge trunk.I've used it to commute around Staten Island and Brooklyn over the past year. At this time I am moving and must sell it... I have put work into general maintenance, regular oil changes, and replaced brakes, shocks, clutch and other items...but do not have receipts. At this time, the vehicle starts and drives, but needs minor work (which I have detailed to the best of my knowledge below). Condition: - Exterior & Interior are in good condition. - Minor cosmetic dent on front passenger corner (see pic). - Strip of moulding on side door missing. - Rear, driver's side tire went flat and has been temporarily replaced with spare/donut. Tire will be included. Mechanically: Vehicle starts and drives well, but the motor mount is cracked. This is just the piece that secures the engine in place (not the engine itself). Anybody or shop with a welding rig should be able to fix this without much cost. Clutch is new, but third gear is slipping due to motor mount not being secure. Electrically: - Interior Audio/Speakers work, but stereo has been removed. Easy to install a standard size car stereo. - Fuse must have recently blown that controls the electronic locks on doors & trunk (they have worked perfectly and now do not). Easy to check fuses.
