You are bidding on a 1980 International Scout II Diesel. 3.2 Liter Nissan Turbo Diesel.. This Scout has undergone a full frame on restoration within the past 6 months. It is in very good running and driving condition. For you Scout lovers out there I realize that the front end does not have the square headlights. The man I bought it from told me that it actually came from the factory with the round headlights and 79 grill. I have no way of proving this but I have heard that there were a few 80's out there with the round lights. Either way I had a mint condition lower and upper grill out of a 73 that I painted to match and I really like the way that grill looks. And for those of you who already know it's hard as heck to find an 80 front set up in great condition if you can find one at all!!. I did try to keep it as original looking as possible but just did a couple of mild mod's to make it look better in my opinion. Put it this way, when driving it around I never hear anything bad come out of anyones mouth. Everyone loves it, and I mean everyone. The gas mileage is awesome. I know it's getting over 20 MPG. EVERYTHING works!! All electrical ,, all gauges, lights etc...has new Warn locking hubs, front brakes, calipers, front brake lines, all new studs, new lug nuts, wheel, interior seats were recovered back to the original seats. New oil pan gaskets and rear main seal. It's just an awesome scout that gets and lot of attention and is going up in value everyday.
