The previous owner had built this one for his wife so it would be both reliable and fun to drive. The 5.0 is a very efficient and powerful engine. Factory-Equipped with a Hydraulic Roller Camshaft and Forged Pistons provide great power as well as durability. The C4 automatic has been upgraded with a shift kit that provides a firm shift that is still comfortable enough for daily driving. The exhaust appears to be in excellent condition with Flowmaster Mufflers. The factory drum brakes have been replaced with 4-Wheel Disc Brakes. This is really a must-have upgrade if you plan to drive the car in any performance manner or in daily driving where repeated stopping or even wet weather will dramatically reduce drum brakes effectiveness. The interior of this Pony has been restored with quality reproduction pieces including Instrument Bezel, Dash Pad, Carpet, Door Panels, Headliner and Seat Upholstery. The addition of a tachometer, aftermarket radio fitted to the factory dash and seat belts with nice chrome plating & Mustang emblems are the only visible aftermarket upgrades. The body on this Mustang has had some minor rust repair in the passenger lower rear quarter and an amatuer repaint in Chrome Yellow. There are numerous imperfections visible on inspection. These consist mostly of small scratches & small moisture bubbles in the paint. This paint again was an amatuer paint job. In its current condition the body would be fine for a starter car or a daily driver. Even a cheap Maaco $249 paint job would breath new life into this classic. Structurally the car is sound. There are the mentioned patch panels installed in the rear quarters. The front of the passenger quarter panel has some bubbles as well as the rear of the drivers quarter, see pics. The rear floors are in good condition. The front floors have the typical rust where the floor pan meets the toe-board. The trunk drop-offs appear to be in good condition. Overall it is structurally sound needing only some of the typical Mustang repairs. This would be a great car for the enthusiast who wants to enjoy the car now and tackle the paint & body later as the expensive mechanical & interior are already in good condition. For our Australian Customers we have an import/export office in Warragul, Victoria. We have partnered with Southern Chassis Works to offer complete assistance with everything from importing details to shipping.
The crew from SCW loads the cars into containers at our facility in Monroe, WA. Then unpacks the containers in Australia. They currently have 7 cars on the water right now. We have another shipment leaving on December the 7th for delivery just after Christmas. SCW can be reached at 61356233600.
