Was a very good running car until headgasket blew between cylanders 1 and 3. car only got to 236 degrees before we got home and shut it down. Has 4 new tires in last six months air ride suspension in rear. Windshield is cracked and has minor scratches and dings from kids. Car was my inlaws who bought it new and lived in arkansas so car is very clean underneath due to no salt on roads in arkansas. we brought it to iowa in march. also have spare heads to go with car if wanted.On Nov-28-11 at 05:38:19 PST, seller added the following information: Had a few questions, the dash pad is pulling up along windshield it is a common problem with the buick lesabre. Since the windshield is cracked was going to wait til i replaced it to glue it back down since it would be easier to get to. Interior on the car is in good condition everything works all power windows and all dash lights and guages. The armrest top in the center the hinge broke on it it is only plastic and could be found at most salvage yards it is still there tho.On Dec-01-11 at 09:34:06 PST, seller added the following information: I added a few more pics before it snows here saturday. One is under the car just to try to show some of the underside of the car other than dirt is very solid. Seats are clean this would make some one a very nice second car with either head gasket work or a motor. I have checked with a few salvage yards locally and a motor can be had for around 450 to 650. I have done head gaskets on a gm car like this one and i had the heads all redone at the shop. With machine work and parts i had about 500 into the job but labor was all done by myself. With that being said I would have just fixed this car and let my 15yr old daughter drive it to school but she informed me it is a grammas car and to big. Edmunds true market value with the bad motor is 1500.00 in good condition car is about 4250.00 so this is a great deal for some one to put the money into it.On Dec-01-11 at 09:39:20 PST, seller added the following information: Also all interior functions properly cruise, air, heat and all power windows work. car drives straight and trans shifts nice and smooth. power seats and stereo all work also.
