1985 Honda Nighthawk

Up for auction is my 1985 Nighthawk S. This is one sweet ride. These bikes were known for their silky smooth nature, light/nimble handling, great ergonomics and in my opinion one of the best sounding OEM exhaust notes on the market. Also low maintenance with hydraulic valves and a shaft drive make this an easy bike to own. Other cool features are the oil-in the frame with oil cooler and fully adjustable handlebars. Mechanically this bike is very sound. The carbs have been professionally cleaned and balanced. Recent motor oil and rear drive oil change. Brakes have plenty of life left and tires have plenty of tread left. Starts easily and runs wonderfully. I have taken this on all day rides and commuted all summer with No issues. The only problems with this bike are cosmetic. The seat has some cracks in the vinyl and the bikini fairing is scraped and has a crack from the previous owner dropping the bike. There are also scratches here and there simply from normal use. All the body work is there and the tank has no big scratches or dings. 25005 original miles but I may put I few more on before I have to say goodbye. Please feel free to ask any questions. I wont ship the bike; however for an extra fee I am willing to fully crate the bike if the buyer wants to arrange for it to be shipped.
