This auction is for a 1980 Triumph TR7 that has a V6 engine and GM automatic transmission. I believe that the engine is from a Buick but it was installed by the previous owner so you would have to check the numbers to be sure. The tranny is a 3 speed automatic. The car is registered and driven but consider it a project as there are items that need to be finished. The body is not too bad with rust at the right front fender and a mark at the right quarter panel. There are also some rust scabs on it. The wiring harness is working but I would suggest replacing it. The horn, wipers and headlights all work. The heater and blower motor work and the radio lights up but does not play. The tires, exhaust and rear shocks are not that old and there are headers on the engine. This is one that could be driven locally and worked on in your spare time. I believe that there is an outfit called John’s Cars that supplies parts for changing over the TR7 to a V6 car so securing parts should not be that bad to do. This car is being sold “as is where is” so there is no guarantee or warranty. There is no shipping on this item so the buyer would be responsible for pickup.
