1967 Mercury Cougar, completely rebuilt 289 V-8 w/ mild cam (1000 miles on rebuild) & rebuilt 3 speed automatic transmission w/shift kit. 88,760 miles on odometer. Not a show car but it is fund to drive, runs strong, sounds & looks good, and turns heads every time I drive it. Holley 600 4-barrel carb., Edelbrock intake manifold, headers, dual exhaust w/Flowmasters, aluminum 3 core radiator, HEI distributor. Newer Cooper tires w/ 75% tread, new fuel system, new battery & alternator, new stereo & speakers, new brake pads all the way around. Both sequential tail lights work, new solid state signal unit (pix are for left side…right works the same). Headlight covers still work slowly. Body is straight, two minor dings in right rear quarter panel, one on top of left front fender, minor chips and scratches, repaint by prior owner (Thunderbird metallic brown-not OEM and some small bubbles on hood but always get compliments). Original interior, front seats some tears. Bought this car in 2008 for $4,000, have invested over $6,000. I believe I am the 3rd owner. This Cougar was identical to my first car, now selling it to buy Jeep TJ (my second car). Terms: I require a $500.00 Deposit via PayPal within 24 hours of auction ending and the remaining balance within 7 Days.
