I am selling my wife's 1996 4x4 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited edition if good condition. We have owned the Jeep for many years and bought my wife a new car we still use as an extra car. We have always done extra maintenance on car through out the years. The transmission was rebuilt around 160k and we had them put heavy duty parts anticipating owning for a long time. We always used mobil one synthetic oil. Always changed fluids such as rear & front axles transfer case and transmission fluids with mopar fluids. Over the years we put a new radiator, front wheel drive axles, water pump, belts, tune ups, front driveshaft front steering links, all 4 monrow best quality shocks, 2 new gas shocks for rear hatch, recently put in new alternator starter and muffler. Im sure there is a lot I'm forgetting but you can see the care had a lot of parts over the years. I feel the body looks nice we waxed it twice a year before winter and before summer. We always used Michelan tires and are still in pretty good shape. The car has a tow package which is rare with the six. The six gets much better gas mileage than the eight and I know people who have over 300k and still going. That engine was a great one for Jeep. My wife said its the best vehicle that she has ever driven in the snow. Some cosmetic things it could use is a head liner, material its sagging in spots. The driver seat is ripped the interior is ok but is dirty from kids. The air condition works but has to be recharged in beginning of summer and mid way through.The cd player and radio work but if you wanted a real good quality sound you might want to replace. I'm pretty sure this was a fully load Jeep heated seats sun roof leather etc limited edition. I feel the body and paint look good but it has some dings and scratches from parking lot.
