1960 Impala 2 door hard top frame off restored Up for sale is a very clean driver quality impala. I underwent a full frame off restoration 3 years ago and has only been driven 1500 miles since. It was built to be a driver because I wanted a nice classic that I could cruise in and it wouldn't be the end of the world if it got scatched or run over a puddle. It could be a super nice ride with some attention to the paint, trim and finishing details. See below the list below. Engine 400 SBC rebuilt with virgin bore, mild cam, edelbrock RPM intake, and carb, cog pully system, long tube headers, dual exhaust with flow masters, 4 core aluminum radiator, electric fans, ball milled valve covers and air cleaner... Runs cool and purrs like a lion, it also has a nice thump to the idle Transmission 400 short shaft, rebuilt to factory specs, custom drive shaft and billet carrier bearing... Goes down the road nice and smooth with no vibrations Suspension FBSS air ride with 1/2" valves and lines, twin viar pumps, twin 3 gal air tanks... Moves fast and recovers fast. Sits flat on the ground and goes up to a nice sleak ride hight Stereo DVD/CD head unit with 7"monitor, 7" screen in the rear, fosgate power 1000 amp pushing 12" fosgate subs, fosgate mids and highs... Big sound and clean also for all types of music Interior Custom 4 bucket seats with custom center console, orignal houndstooth fabrick, billet trenz steering wheel and window cranks, billet tilt column, dakota digital gauges, sprayed sound deadning floor with new carpet and headliner... Very clean and confortable Wheels Coy 18 fronts and 20 rears, Hankook tires... Rides like it should and holds the road nice in corners There are too many other things to list but those are the things that come to mind. Everything on the car was rebuilt or replaced with the exception of the window tracks and heat/ac system. The windows worked "ok" and the plan was to replace the tracks with a power window system this winter. The heat/ac system was remove during resto and never reinstalled, the plan was to install an aftermarket system this winter also. The reason that I am selling is that the C6 corvette bug has bit me bad and I need to make room. If you have a C6 then maybe we can do some dealing (salvage cars welcome).
