Vehicle Detail
Now here is a great chance to own a great piece of history, and at the same time, own a truly RARE mopar!!!! This is a 1965 Plymouth Valiant 200 Convertible! The Body/Style Number Plate that is located under the hood reads, V35, which is a 2-dr Conv-5P. It also means that the Factory Price brand new was between $2404.00/$2532.00 and the Shipping Weight was between 2695/2875 pounds. The Production Total was only 2,769. That is a very low number indeed…… The real question is, HOW MANY are LEFT today????? This little Plymouth even gets better!!!! It has the OPTIONAL Commando 273 V-8 with the Carter AFB four-barrel, with Compression ratio: 10.5:1 with 235 HP and automatic transmission…. This is TRULY a RARE, and VERY DESIRABLE PLYMOUTH….. It has NO AIR, NO POWER BRAKES, and NO POWER STEERING…. I believe who ever ordered this Plymouth brand new, was really looking for a nice little SLEEPER!!!! This Plymouth also has the Sport Group Option, which included the Simulated Woodgrain Three-Spoke Steering Wheel, Bolt-on-Design Wheelcovers, and Whitewall Tires which added about $80 to $100 to the sticker price. I bought this car about 3 years ago, and drove it for about a year. After that, I started to do a complete resoration on it, but I already have one other project I’m doing, and I just don’t have the time to take on another one…. I really hate to sell it, but like the old saying, MY LOSE, YOUR GAIN…. (I really hate that line, but I think in this case, it is so true)…. This is a VERY SOLID PLYMOUTH, and a great car to restore! The PAINT CODE is D, which is called, Medium Blue Poly, and the TRIM CODE is H4B, which is Blue Vinyl. What a real beautiful Color Combination! I have all of the stainless steel trim pieces, with the complete dashboard. I have the motor and transmission out of the car in my garage. This is a complete car that is now disassembled, and I have all the parts that will go with the sale to the new owner!!!!!! This Plymouth is located in Staten Island, New York, 10306 in my heated garage. You are more than welcome to come and take a look! You can e mail me, or call me @ 917 709 1615 for any questions you might have…. My name is Tommy… I can assist in DOMESTIC and INTERNATIONAL shipping also for the new owner! I have a TRANSFERABLE New York State Valid Title in hand… Thanks so much, and enjoy the photos!!!!!!!
