No Reserve!!! This is a very nice 1978 Silver Anniversary 4-speed Corvette. Only 3385 were made with the 4 speed trans. Leather seats, New black carpet, Telescoping and tilt steering, remote mirror, power windows, power door locks. New factory correct Silver Anniversary two tone paint and correct Sport Striping, all less than 6 months old. Removable T-tops makes it feel like a convertable. Original storage bags in nice condition. Factory 140 MPH speedometer and 7000 RPM tachometer. guages include Oil, Voltage, Temp, fuel and clock. The clock stops sometimes, but the CD player has a digital clock in it. I have had this stored for 8 years and just recently completed it and put it on the road. The engine is numbers matching to the VIN of the Vette, and has less than 700 miles since being upgraded in Horse Power. It now has a high performance stroker crank shaft and is bored .30 over making it 383 cubic inches instead of 350 ci. Additional upgrades are 202 angle plug heads that are large port matched to the Wieand Team G highrise intake manifold, then fitted with BRC shaft mounted alluminum roller rockers that are 1.6 intake and 1.5 exhaust, dual valve springs, bronze guides, screw in studs, hardened valves and seats. High torque mini starter The 4 speed close ratio trans is freshly built and uses a Centerforce clutch and SFI approved flywheel. The rearend that came with the 4-speed transmissions are heavier duty than those with the automatics. Rear tires sit vertical with no top end lean. (watch out for cars that the rear tires lean inward as it would be a sign of needed costly repairs) New OEM Factory 4 core radiator (Keeps engine cool even when using the air in triple digit temperatures). New Air Conditioning compressor and the AC blows cold! Nice Speed Rated tires and Original aluminum wheels with new center caps. The spare tire is present and has the original lock with key that matches the car. All emblems are original and correct. Vacuum operated headlights operate properly. Pioneer CD player with remote and dual rear Blauplunkt speakers, power antenna. The speedometer reads fast but can easily be corrected with a $20 speedo gear. I would assume the the odometer has exceeded the digits, but its possible that it has not due to the condition of the car being as nice as it is. Even the original carpet was in good condition except for the fact it was faded in areas which is why I replaced it. The original leather seats do not give the appearance of exessive use like some I have seen that are this age. The pull out cargo cover looks nice and works like it should. This car is fun to drive, and my wife and I took it on a little road trip without any problems. The paint did recieve a couple of small road chips which I touched up, so the paint is not perfect as when it was painted, but it does look very nice and I would not be afraid to enter it in a show.
