QUESTIONS THAT CAN’T WAIT FOR AN ANSWER VIA E-MAIL, PLEASE CALL MY CELL (217) 779-6309 AT A GLANCE: - GREAT LOOKING TRUCK (MY OPINION) - NICE LOW STANCE - STRAIGHT BODY - GOOD PAINT - STRONG 406 (HASN'T BEEN DYNOED, BUT I'M GUESSING 400HP+) RUNS VERY STRONG - SOUNDS GREAT TOO!! - VERY STREETABLE / DRIVES VERY WELL - FUN TO DRIVE AND TURNS HEADS For sale is my 1982 Chevy shortbed pickup truck. This truck is completely streetable and runs cool all day long. Truck has had a ton of money spent on restoration and performance parts. Below is a list of everything I could think of - 406 SBC with 800 DP Holley carb / Edelbrock Victor JR intake / Edelbrock Performer RPM aluminum heads / hydraulic roller cam / aluminum full roller rockers / headers / dual Flowmaster mufflers / MSD billet distributor / MSD 6al ignition box….(sounds nasty / runs strong) - TH350 transmission with shift kit and 3000RPM stall convertor / Hurst shifter - 12 bolt rearend with 4.11 gears - Cragar Alumastar wheels / rear tires are about 10” wide, but there’s room for about 12” tires and can go taller too which will fill up the wheelwells more and give a bit of rake - Body is not perfect, but is very straight and nice, there are some minor flaws (see pictures) - Steel cowl hood - Engine bay has been detailed (painted inner fender wells / painted heater box / etc) - Frame has been painted - Big aluminum radiator (runs cool all day long) - Large fuel cell for street use - Fuel cell and battery mounted in bed - Nice bed cover on hydraulic arms (easy to open/close – easy access to battery & fuel cell) - Holley electric fuel pump - Billet grille - Heat works THE THINGS YOU SHOULD KNOW BEFORE YOU BID: - Hood is not a perfect color match (it’s close though) – (see pictures) - The outer floor pans on each side have a small patch (nothing major) – (see pictures) - The rear wheelwells behind the tires and down low have some minor rust bubbling - There is some very minor cracking in the paint on the passengers door where the stock mirror mounting holes were filled in (it’s minor enough I couldn’t get a decent picture of it) - There is a crack in the paint and some minor rust starting on the passengers lower rocker panel (see pictures) - There is some minor rust on the firewall seams (see pictures) - Front top edge of the bed has paint missing in front of bed cover (see pictures) - Truck has power windows, but they are very slow going up and down - (worst case scenario a new window motor is under $50) LONG STORY SHORT……..A really sharp and strong running truck.....You decide the price.
