1964 Daytona Blue Chevrolet Monza Spyder Corvair Convertible with 150hp Turbo. This is a one of the kind classic with only 4761 produced and is rated at the top of the collectibility scale for the early years. It has the Daytona Blue exterior paint and Mist Blue interior upholstery specified for the 1964 year and model. Radio has been replaced, a new one with CD player and it has new speakers. The top is original with the rear window replaced. Interior is "original", in excellent condition and has no damage as you can see from the pictures. The exterior was painted in 2000 and has normal wear and tear. The trunk has been carpeted with a custom carpet kit. It has 14" nearly new tires with chrome wheels. This car has been shown at numerous car shows, then covered and stored in a heated garage. It has been an Idaho vehicle for most of its life. I have owned and repaired Corvairs since 1964. This Corvair was owned by a customer of mine and after I rebuilt the engine and turbo, he decided to sell it in the spring of 2000. I purchased it and have been the owner ever since. We have enjoyed taking it to different Corvair functions and just driving it. These cars draw lots of attention from lookers and usually have a story they want to tell.
