Vehicle Detail
This is a 1931 Ford Model A Roadster. I have a Clear Virginia Title for the car that designates it as a true Roadster. This car sat in storage for years. I don't know exactly how many, but it sat. This car is probably a little too far gone for restoration. It would be a great start for a Hot Rod or a Rat Rod. The Body is sitting on stock Ford Model A Frame and Suspension. It is also sitting on a very nice set of 16" Wheels. These wheels are the ones all of the Model A enthusiasts are looking for. The Tires all hold air and look pretty good, but again, this car was sitting for a long time. You may not want to trust them. The Body of the car is rusty. There is rust and rust holes on both sides of the lower Cowl area. The Rear section of the Body has surface rust and pitting. The Rumble Seat Lid is pretty solid and it still has the original Rumble Seat Hinges and Latch. The Front Fenders are pretty solid , but do have some rust and some dings. The Right Front Fender has a split that was welded back together. The Headlights and Spreader Bar are in good condition, but aren't show pieces. The Hood is very solid. The Hood Latches are not on the car, but I have them. The Running Boards are solid, but again, aren't show pieces. The Rear Fenders are Fiberglass, so they look very good. The Doors are not Roadster Doors, but are cut down from Coupe or Sedan Doors. The Doors do not open. They are bolted in place. There is no Interior. I do not have the Rumble Seat. There is no Engine. The Transmission and Differential are in the car, but I have no idea what their condition is. For bidding purposes, you should consider them to be unusable. If they turn out to be good, that will be your good fortune. The Front Suspension appears to be original. The Steering Wheel turns the Front Wheels, but that is all I can tell you about that. There is a large amount of parts that go with the car. I have the original Roadster Floor Pan that gives you steel Floors where the other Model As had wood. There are also other steel Floor Pans. There are also Patch Panels for the Cowl and replacement Panels for the Roadster Doors. I think this could be a nice start on a Hot Rod or a Rat Rod. I am posting good pictures and a detailed description. I will try to answer any questions through email. This Roadster is being listed with a low start price and no reserve. It sells to the highest bidder. I may be able to assist with delivery, for a fee, within a few hundred miles of Canton, Ohio.
