Look at my feedback. I stand behind everything I sell 100%. I will describe everything about this car including all of the bad stuff other sellers do not want you to find out about. Everyone else tries to hide the bad stuff and hopes you will not find out. I disclose everything known to me. Please look at all photographs as I have tried to capture all flaws. Very nice Mercedes Benz SL320. This is by far my favorite car I have ever owned. I bought this car for myself but my wife says I have too many toys so I am reluctantly letting this one go. This is a very nice car. It is not a show car but it is nicer than most. I am very picky about the condition of my cars and while this car is not perfect it is still a very nice car. I am going to note all of the things that I have intended to repair if I was to keep the car. Exterior: Overall the exterior of this car is an 8 out of 10. The front hood bumper and fenders were repainted due to rock chips and normal wear. This car has never been in an accident. The rest of the paint is original and excellent. The paint on the hood is not perfect but still very nice and 90% of people would never know that it has been painted. The hard top is original to the car and fits perfectly. The windows have been tinted including the rear window on the hard top. The tint is legal and was professionally done. Again, this is an area that I am very picky and the work was very good. There is a total of 3 dings on the car. There are 2 small dings around the latches in front of the trunk. These are from installing and removing the hard top and most of these cars have these. You cannot see these with the hard top installed on the car or with the soft top up. The other ding is on the back edge of the trunk lid and is from installing the hard top as well. Other than that there is only one scratch on the passenger side door that has been touched up that you can see if you really look. The soft top is in good condition but not perfect as it has spent most of its life down. The back windows are crystal clear. There are no rips or tears. There are some wrinkles that you can see in the canvas if you really look. I would rate the condition of the top a 6.5 out of 10 and it would probably look better if it was left up for a few months to work out the wrinkles. Everything works like it should for the hard and soft top as far as the hydraulics and the computer controls. The roll bar works like it should. All 4 18" tires are new. The 18" AMG wheels have some light curb rash that I was planning on having repaired. I got a quote of $250 to make all 4 perfect. The car has the HID Xenon headlights that both work perfectly like they should. Interior: The interior is very nice for a 16 year old car. The leather is in very good condition. The only wear is on the drivers side bolster. The carpet is nice as well as the door panels. There are some little details that it would need to make it perfect. The lenses are missing from the dome light for example. The center console wood trim lacquer has some checking which is normal for these cars. There is also a tiny chip on the edge of the wood trim panel around the shifter. The headliner on the hard top is nice. The only thing that needs attention is the SRS light that is on. I had the car detailed and they removed the front seats to clean the carpet and the SRS light has been on ever since. I have not been able to get it cleared. Overall the interior is not perfect but still very nice. With a little love and some time it could be very nice. Trunk: The carpet on the floor of the trunk is stained. The spare tire is missing. The CD Changer works. The First aid kit is there as well. Some of the tools from the tool kit are in the trunk but not all. Mechanical: Mechanically this car is a 10 out of 10. The 3.2 inline 6 cylinder engine is so smooth you cannot even hear it running. The transmission shifts perfectly. There are absolutely zero leaks. The 3.2l inline 6 is known to be one of the most reliable engines in the world with many approaching a half a million miles without a rebuild. I regularly see these engines with 300k plus that are still running whisper quiet. I intentionally bought a sl320 instead of the more powerful 500 because the inline 6 has more than enough power for this little car and is exponentially more reliable than the V8. This little inline 6 will effortlessly spin the tires on this car and hold you back in you seat as you accelerate. I have to say that I have been very impressed with the power that this car has. All of the maintenance is up to date of the car. All fluids are new or like new. All belts and hoses are excellent. The car need nothing at all right now. Overall: This is overall a very nice car. I would not hesitate to drive this car every day and put 20k miles a year on it. I bought it as a weekend car and I have thoroughly enjoyed it. There are some areas that need a little TLC but this car has by no means been abused in any way. It has been driven and enjoyed. I am a licensed dealer in the State of Georgia. All GA residents will have to pay sales tax and dealer fees of $200. All other buyers simply pay $125 dealer fee on top of the final bid price. A $500 Deposit is due within 24 hours and payment in full with cash is due within 72 hours. Loan checks from credit unions and banks are accepted from GA residents only. All other are on a case by case basis once I have talked with the lender. All local buyers are encouraged to email to setup a time to view the car before bidding.
