Vehicle Detail
1984 CJ-7 Jeep Laredo. Garage kept. Purchased this immaculately restored Jeep from Southern Hot Rods in Georgia 3 years ago and have continued to invest since. Hard top and Doors. New Soft Top and Doors from Bestop. The paint job on this CJ7 is absolutely gorgeous Silver Metallic. The body is straight and it is a head turner. It has lots of chrome including the hood hinges and hood vent, new tube step bars (aka nerf bars), door hinges, light bezels, hood latches, fog lights, fuel inlet, front bumper and rear bumperettes. The wheels are new American Racing Wheels and the tires are new Futura Dakota RVTís (31x11.50x15). The interior has the original Laredo seats front and rear, factory tachometer and clock, new roll bar covers, tilt steering wheel, center console, paint-matched roll bar, and rhino lined floors. New Alpine satellite radio and speakers (CD player is acting up). Gas and oil pressure gauges don't always work -- others do. Front passenger seat has a small 1-inch tear. Occasionally, get a little antifreeze on the passenger floor board. Otherwise, in excellent condition. The engine is the original 4.2 inline 6 cylinder and it was completely rebuilt approximately 30k miles ago. It recently had new fuel pump, fuel filter, alternator, battery, plugs and distributor cap, metal valve cover, power steering pump and lines, and new brakes. The engine runs great. The 4-speed transmission shifts smooth, the clutch feels good, and the 4 wheel drive works great. The underside is solid and clean and this Jeep has obviously been well cared for and maintained. It has a new exhaust system and it sounds great. This Jeep starts, runs, drives, handles, stops, sounds, and looks great. It is 28 years old antique classic and is being sold as is. Bought a new 4-door Jeep for the kids and strollers -- now I need to part with this beautifully restored classic.
