Vehicle Detail

1999 Chevrolet Crew Cab Dually 4x4 pickup 454 cubic inch V8 modified. ONE OWNER for sale BY OWNER. Bought new February 17th, 1999 at Lyles Chevrolet in High Point, NC. Low Low milage of 90,976. Never wrecked. Super clean, always kept clean. NEVER SMOKED IN. Brakes new last year. Rarely driven outside of piedmont part of NC, NO RUST. Photo of window sticker included , also added to truck when new : remote door locks, Bed liner. Later added Kelsey electric brake control, front 2” hitch(used for winch). Also fifth wheel hitch mounts left in place. SEE A VIDEO OF THE TRUCK ON YOU TUBE BY CLICKING ON THIS LINK http://youtu.be/KaCIYsnWsVk . See it, hear it run, see it perform. I bought a gigantic camper in last spring. It lost speed going uphill on interstate so I built the engine to go from the original 335 horsepower to somewhere around 450 horsepower. It gained about 2 more miles per gallon and will now hold speed with the cruise control at 70 mph on most interstates pulling the big 3 axle toyhauler camper loaded (approx. 16,000lbs). It will run on regular gas because the anti spark knock sensors will retard the timing. The horsepower jumps up with the higher grades of gas. Tires are Michelin Radials front tires about ½ tread left, rear tires about 90 percent left. It has dual batteries with plenty of warranty left on them at Autozone. I have taken great care to keep the interior clean and looking new. There has been minor damage to the hood from acorns falling but the hood was replaced with a new on. The fiberglass rear wheel housings have both been damaged over the years, but were repaired immediately. No other real damage has ever been done to the truck. I have a fifth wheel tailgate that goes with the truck. The ENGINE: In May 2011 (at 89,876 miles) the 454 cubic inch 7.4 liter V8 was Bored .030” over (Approx 464 c.i.) Polished crank, (standard rod and mains) TRW 11 to 1 forged aluminum pistons (factory 9 to1) Chrome Molly rings, Chevrolet Generation VI rectangle intake Hi-performance heads (complete set with valves and springs). 118 CC combustion chambers, intake valves are 2.180”, exhaust 1.880”. The heads are cast iron GM Part # 12562925, Casting #12562934. Competition Cams # 01-409-8 Hi torque camshaft and lifters picture of spec sheet included. Hi-volume oil pump. Stainless steel Headers lead into the stock converters and exhaust. The computer is a PCM custom tuned computer out of Stow, Ohio. The factory fuel injection is still used by modifying the lower intake manifold to match the head intake ports. The upper intake manifold and valve covers have been polished. It has new hoses and a new belt.
