1974 Honda CB

1974 Honda CB750 cafe racer by Bob Johnson of Old School Cafe Racer. Details of the build can be seen on the blog Motorcycles and Other Stuff. This bike needs nothing, it is ready to go to a new home. The build: Frame bead blasted, center stand removed, all unwanted tabs removed and then repainted. All aluminum polished. Stainless steel socket head bolts used as much as possible. Rims, kickstarter, brake pedal, front fender, shifter, starter cover, clutch cover, and brake resevoir were powdercoated. Front forks rebuilt, new seals, new gaiters and fork oil. Honda oem parts. New wiring harness, Honda NOS control switches, Honda oem battery Honda oem ignition switch, and seat lock. Halogen headlight in tear drop bucket, with aluminum headlight stays, custom upper fork tube covers. New fork cap bolts, new triple tree bolt. . Mini tach and speedo, clubman bars with controls wires concealed in bars. New throttle, clutch, tach and speedo cables. Stainless steel front brake lines, front caliper rebuilt and polished. New rear brake switch. New spokes, rim strips and tires. New rear shocks. New upper end engine gaskets, new valve seals, this engine had approximately 8000 miles when project started. Carbs sonic cleaned and rebuilt. Stainless steel oil lines Stock seat pan with custom leather seat with red french seam to match tank. Modified stock tank by Bob J. with new Honda oem cap. There are countless other items, that were replaced if needed and inspected for wear and proper operation. All pictures, except one during build were taken after riding from Indiana to Barber Motorsport Park for Vintage Days and back total of 1175 mile with zero problems.
